I have had the opportunity to work with highly skilled individuals from my early experience as a cadet with leadership responsibility at the US Air Force Academy. That was followed by active duty Air Force pilot and instructor duties on world wide jet cargo missions. My experience in commercial aviation has brought me through the ranks from flight engineer(instructor) to first officer on B727's and B747, followed by captain position on new MD80's. Working as a flight examiner on the MD80 before transitioning to new B737-400's in 1992. I completed 15 years of captain experience on the B737 including 7 years on the New Generation(700,800,900). I am currently working as a TCI on the B737NG/400 for my former air carrier and also work with a Part 142 Training Center. My work also includes teaching and evaluating CRM skills to crew members going through initial and recurrent training. We use a Threat and Error Management model which is the most up to date in the industry. I have done both simulator and line training and would look forward to continuing with an air carrier that needs B737NG expertise. Captain Eric Myers |
