The Position:
The successful candidate will implement and control a detailed comprehensive maintenance planning and scheduling service to all Ground Support Equipment and Docking, providing support to all aircraft maintenance activities. This also includes support with respect to equipment rectification, major overhaul and special tools and support. The incumbent will liaise with base heavy and light maintenance shift managers to ensure all logistics and equipment are available on time to carry out maintenance tasks.
He/She will implement, manage and control aircraft tools, schedule maintenance programs and suggest improvements to enhance in-house capabilities to reduce reliance on outsourcing to ensure repair of aircraft tools with minimum possible time.
