WestJet´s Durfy says not pushed out as CEO
|
... "Effectively I am retired," Durfy told reporters, a day after WestJet announced he would step down as CEO on April 1 because of unspecified personal reasons and be replaced by Gregg Saretsky, the company´s executive vice-president of operations.
Saretsky said there were no immediate plans for WestJet, a budget carrier that flies across North America and to and from the Caribbean, to start new international routes such as those across the Pacific Ocean. |
