UPDATE 1-Helicopters to Norway´s Ekofisk stopped
|
... "Offshore traffic to and from Ekofisk is stopped," Avinor said in a statement on its website.
Production at Ekofisk, the platform producing the most oil in Norway, was not affected, a company spokesman told Reuters.
Other flights to offshore installations in the Norwegian part of the North Sea were continuing, Avinor said.
Earlier on Monday the authority said that offshore traffic could be suspended from 1200 GMT because of volcanic ash from Iceland. |
