AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., has added another athlete to its all-star lineup of endorsers. Baltimore Ravens tight end Todd Heap, has become the newest team member on the low-cost carrier´s roster and will be featured in radio spots and state-of-the art high-impact billboards across the Baltimore/Washington area.

"Todd Heap is a fan favorite and an exceptionally talented football player, so we are glad to have him on the team," said Tad Hutcheson, AirTran Airways´ vice president of marketing and sales. "We view Heap´s signing as a big time score for our company and AirTran Airways plans to continue scoring here in Baltimore/Washington by offering our passengers low fares, great service and unique amenities."

Heap, the latest in a line of talented sports figures partnering with AirTran Airways, is a two-time pro bowler and a 2001 first-round draft pick. In six seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, Heap has become the team´s all-time franchise leader in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. Heap joins other athletes on AirTran Airways´ roster of endorsers, which includes IndyCar racing star Danica Patrick, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver, Atlanta Falcon All-Pro linebacker Keith Brooking and more.
